Molten Paraffin is an indispensable consumable in any histology lab as it is the most widely used embedding medium for Tissue Processing. A Paraffin or Wax dispenser melts the solid paraffin, maintains it in its molten form and can dispense it as and when required. Medimeas Paraffin Dispenser is CE Certified and is available in both 5L and 10L capacities. Its sturdy body is made of powder coated cold roll steel, while the inner container is made of stainless steel to prevent rust formation. A 1000W stainless steel (aluminium embedded) heating element integrated on the sides and bottom of the dispenser is controlled through a thermostat which optimises energy consumption. Paraffin temperature is monitored through an integrated temperature sensor which provides feedback to the thermostat so that precise temperature control is maintained at all times. Current and Set temperature values can be set using the feather touch keypad and it values are displayed on the LED screens at all the times. The dispenser has a glass top to visually see the wax level without lifting the top and exposing oneself to the harmful wax fumes. Also provide are two integrated heat resistant lifting handles on both sides of the body to safely lift the unit. The dispenser tap has an integrated heater to prevent solidification and blockage and its handle cover is made of heat resistant material for user convenience. The standard unit is configured for 230V 50Hz power supply, however it can customised for any voltage and frequency input depending on clients requirements.
